Artwave helps to promote the Lewes district as a cultural destination full of artists and makers. The festival is funded by the registration fees from participants, sponsorship (both in kind and in cash), advertising and is part subsidised by Lewes District Council

 

why ADVERTISE WITH ARTWAVE?

In 2016, Artwave festival attracted an estimated 49,160 visitors across the 123 venues, with 84% of these visiting from outside of the district. Artwave is the largest open house festival outside Brighton & Hove and one of the most popular visual arts festivals in the East Sussex cultural calendar. 

Artwave 2017 will continue to attract cultural tourists to the area - people motivated to visit a destination because of the cultural offer and combine this with food and drink, hotels, shops etc. Artwave produces a full colour A5 brochure that is distributed across Sussex and beyond  to a targeted educated audience with interest in the arts and money to spend.

FULL PAGE ADVERT IN THE ARTWAVE BROCHURE

Engage with our audience and take out a full page of advertising in the Artwave brochure. Our prices are competitively prices at £500 for a full page (discounted to £400 for charities) - benefits include:

  • 25,000 copies of the full colour, A5, brochure printed
  • Distributed across Sussex and beyond by arts marketing specialists
  • Online version of the brochure available for download. (There were 17,622 page views during the festival in 2016)
  • Promotion via growing Artwave social media channels

New for this year we will be showcasing a range of activities that visitors can enjoy whilst in the Lewes district. These will include places to eat, shop and cultural attractions near to Artwave venues to provide a 'Make a day of it' resources for those visiting the area. These advertisements will be curated by Artwave and be displayed as advertorial. The Artwave team will design your - so there is no need to spend time or extra  money creating artwork. Featured trails including Lewes, Seaford, Newhaven and various rural trails (TBC). Our prices are competitively prices at £200 per advertorial  - benefits include:
